The Friends of Cradle Valley (FoCV) is a community-based advocacy group that was formed in February 1992.
Our group brings together people who share a concern for the care and preservation of the Cradle Valley – an area that lies in the northern region of the Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania.
We provide an independent public voice for the area, and a supportive environment for people to raise issues relevant to the well-being of this very special place.
If you have an interest in Cradle Valley and its surrounding landscape please join us. Membership of the Friends of Cradle Valley is free. Just fill in the Contact Form.
Annual General Meeting Our AGM will be held on Saturday 30 November 2024 in the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre Conference Room, starting at 1pm. All welcome. Find out what’s happening at Cradle from PWS staff members Steve Nicholson and Kate Burton, including Dove Lake transport, infrastructure development plans and visitor numbers. There will also be an update on the Tyndalls “iconic walk”. |
